Student Action – one of the Brothers of Italy's two far-right youth groups – commemorates the tenth anniversary of Pino Rauti's death via their Instagram account. The caption "Le radici profonde non gelano" (Deep roots do not freeze) comes from the "Riddle of the Strider" from J. R. R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings trilogy. The Tolkien quote is an indirect reference to the influence of the Movimento Sociale Italiano's (Italian Social Movement) so-called "Hobbit Camps," which took place throughout Italy during the 1970s and 80s. | Caption: "Deep roots do not freeze." | Source: Azione Studentesca, "In ricordo di Pino Rauti," Instagram (November 2, 2022).Download Original File
